MK VII Lanyard Disc

Post by B'omarr Monk »

I am trying to make my own Bag. I am very happy with the results so far (pictures coming as soon as I am done). However, I am not happy with the lanyard disc that I am custom making. Does anybody know of a good resource for one that I can use, that won't break the bank?

Thanks,

B'omarr

Maybe someone on the board has a worn out bag that they are throwing out. I threw one out 6 months ago without thinking. Should have saved the disc. #-o I could have helped.

You could try getting hold of a British army respirator bag, even the current issue one uses the same disc.
Best bet would be a online auction. Search for British army respirator bag,58 pattern respirator bag, S6 respirator bag or S10 respirator bag.

Good luck

If your not worried about it being a "reel " one, I used the plunger end off of a cheap caulking gun on my replica MK-VI. It looks pretty darn close.
