Here are the three styles of fasteners. All of these are antique brass, but there is also the anodised black avaliable. I don't know if Peter still offers the buckles or not, but they are what was seen on some of the ToD jackets.

Here are example of the back panels. The first one is extended to the sleeve, the other is not.

I hope this helps out.

Hi Pyroxene,

Thanks you so much that really helps.

I already included in my final order D rings and extended back.

I think that looks best!

Hmmmm, which of the 2 "Back Panels" are accurate for the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" jacket?....the back panel extended to the sleeve or not? And, which of these 2 come "standard" for a "Raiders'" jacket? And lastly, if I were to choose to have the back panel extended to the arem sleeve, will that produce a tighter fit in my jacket? And, if I decide to have this done for my jacket, is all that I have to write on the Wested Website Order Form "Special Requests" box to: "Have the back panel extended to the sleeve"?

Thank you for helping me out!

I always understood that USWings was the only one now that does not offer the extended back of the BIG three vendors.

I think that one some screen used jackets it was extended to the sleeve and some others it was not. I got it on my last Wested because I like the look. I just put that in the "Special Requests" box. I'm not sure about the fit since I got the one with the extended panel in a slightly larger size, but I think it helps keep the action pleat closed better.

Hope this helps.

Hey there Band Director Jones!

When you listed it on Wested's Order Form on their Webpage, did you list it as:

1.) "Back panel extended to the shoulder"?
(or)
2.) "Back panel extended to the Sleeve"?

I will "definitely" as for this on my jacket when I order, I just want to make sure I ask the correct way, that way Wested and I are on the EXACT same page on this subject, lol, .

Thank You!

My exact words were "Extend the top of the back panel out to the inside edge of the sleeve seam". You might want to email Peter that picture along with a description as well.

Forgotten in the pictures above are the new black, rectangular side fasteners which Wested got in a few months ago. The 'correct' fasteners.
