Great photos, Dawg! The jacket looks really good. That leather seems really terrific.
As to the sleeves, I can confirm, based on my Medium cowhide hero jacket, that indeed the upper arm is rather huge. I could fit two of my arms in there, no problem. The sleeve tapers well to a normal size cuff circumference, but as I said the upper arm is pretty enormous.
I think the Wings pattern looks best on bigger guys. Just browse through the photos that have been posted so far in the various threads to confirm this. If you are 6 ft. tall or taller, have a 44 inch chest or larger and are about 200 lbs or so, these jacket are going to look smashing on you. Those of us who are more lean and need a smaller size, these jackets can be too roomy and too long.
Now, I'm by no means bashing the Wings jacket. It is awesome, the leather is out of sight, and it will make a great winter jacket for layering. I just think Wings should consider adjusting the patterns for the Small and Medium sizes (shorter back length, smaller chest measurements, smaller arm openings, scaled down pockets, etc). But again, for 200 bucks, I am not complaining! I am just really hopeful that Holt and others will steer the new film specific patterns in the right direction, size wise. Detail-wise, I'm not worried!
