what are you talking about?blueoakleyz wrote:Is there anyway to get out of the signature required thing? Like leaving a note on the door with my signature?
UPS requires a signature. I won't be home.Indiana Holt wrote:what are you talking about?blueoakleyz wrote:Is there anyway to get out of the signature required thing? Like leaving a note on the door with my signature?
A signature is required, means any person living in the home, who is over the age of 18, mayIndiana Holt wrote:and what are they suppose to do with that signature note on the door?
they probably have documents with them you need to sign. are they suppose to copy your signature and pretend it is yours? that wont happen b/c its forgery and is illegal.
Indiana Holt wrote:well, then there shouldnt be a problem.
yeah, that usually works out for the best with everything.Use your brain and it usually works out for the best...
Yes there is! Just wave Sig. under remarks on the order form!blueoakleyz wrote:Is there anyway to get out of the signature required thing? Like leaving a note on the door with my signature?
A little hostile aren't you?Indiana Holt wrote:and what are they suppose to do with that signature note on the door?

Not to derail, but not necessarily. It may depend on the value of the item or how it's processed. I know I tried it with a Sideshow PF or two…with a driver who will usually leave any item, sig needed or not (as we're pretty rural), and they couldn't based on its value or something claimed by the sender. But I did leave it with a note to deliver it to my neighbor who would sign. That they would do.maboot38 wrote:In fact, that is official UPS policy that if you leave a note for the driver on delivery day, he WILL leave the package.
This is very true.maboot38 wrote:blue, I didn't think Holt was being hostile, he was just being matter of fact. Perhaps he doesn't deal with UPS over there.
What Holt probably doesn't know is it is actually a pretty common practice to leave a note for the UPS delievery guy telling him to leave a package at the door. In fact, that is official UPS policy that if you leave a note for the driver on delivery day, he WILL leave the package.
Not to mention, when it arrives at the door you don't have to hear "ANOTHER ONE???!!!!!!" from the misses.Michaelson wrote:I like mine coming to work myself. They're signed for, and I get them faster as they're handed to me at my desk rather than me having to wait to get home to see them later than night.

Vaderbreath: As soon as I put it on, it just felt...different. I've had a G&B, Wested, Todd's, and another USW, but this felt different than any of those.
I said the same thing last week, Vaderbreath! Thanks for posting the same thought!Michaelson wrote:6/17: The collar was made to the original Cooper pattern and the body seems a bit more tailored than their standard fare, or at least it is when comparing it to my 5 year old VIP. The fit is definitely different on this one for me than any other Wings jacket I've owned to date. It just fits better. Not sure what, but there's something different.....
