Re: Proper wearing of Raiders trousers
I took some pretty good frame by frame looks. That's the button sewn to the fabric which is underneath the fly. You can see the two layers above rippling. The button should be in between them... buttoned.
Go through it frame by frame.
Means you have to unbutton one guys.

Um, I just as soon not study Indy's 'area' frame by frame.

So who else here thinks Mattdeckard used one of those fancy picture enhancement machines from Blade Runner to spot that...

Funny... My Wested pants routinely come unbuttoned there. Now I can tell my wife it's canon.

Better watch how you use the word "canon" when discussing your fly with the wife...Luke Warmwater wrote:Funny... My Wested pants routinely come unbuttoned there. Now I can tell my wife it's canon.

He has multiple pairs of pants... but if you don't leave one button undone, you're just a poser.Adirondack Jones wrote:I still wanna know how come Indy's pants are so darned GRAY in the whole opening sequence...what's the deal? Brown or Gray???

Hey Matt, it's good to see you pop in from time to time... but this thread might just become a classic. Too funny!
If you guys want, we can replicate these pants with the button, but no matching button hole so you can't button that one.
Kind regards,
Indy

I try to keep track of what's going on here now and again... not as crowded as the lounge, but it's a nice place to talk details.Indy Magnoli wrote:Hey Matt, it's good to see you pop in from time to time... but this thread might just become a classic. Too funny!

Re: Proper wearing of Raiders trousers
Haha Finally someone posted this. I noticed this once real quick when they show the snake in real time. I was like one of Indy's buttons is loose. This happens with my Wested pants, it seems like one button will pop loose for some reason. The holes are a bit larger on my Wested than they need to be. I am getting a pair of pants from Magnoli pretty soon. No I don't want that area to have no hole there for the button, but the ability to do is just amazing Magnoli. You'll be hearing from me soon on a pant order.

Thanks Matt, that picture is somewhat unsettling! At least now we know what color those buttons are.

You mean I am the only person that was going to make myself a pair with the correct color melamine buttons done in 1930s molds?

Re: Proper wearing of Raiders trousers
Am I the only one here that has to decide to unbutton his own button? The only person with a fly that stays closed by itself?

I'm just amazed that no one has made the "trouser snake" joke yet.
