Streets of Cairo Style Caps

Post by fedoraiders »

Hello Everyone! Just for the pleaseure, I happy to show you my Cap Streets of Cairo style. Since more 5 years that I had found these style military caps made in Canada but the color was just Black, Beige and Kaki. Since approximatly 2 months, I find these cap in brown color and I had the idea to change this caps in the adventure caps. I wore my true Fedora occasionally for travel, adventure ETC but I still have a cap on my head and now I'm very happy to wore this adventure cap because I make a little modification to give at this cap, the SOC style with the sweat dust and I shape this cap with a little front pinch. I love these caps and I thing that these caps have similar shape at the cap that Harrison wore in the Making of (picture 1).

I Like the comparaison on the picture with my Streets of Cairo Fedora (picture 2).

I bought a little lot of this brown cap and maybe I start selling this but I have limited quantity.

Thanks for looking!

Jason

That is so cool. I honestly thought you were kidding but after seeing the images...you did an awesome job! And even as a cap it still really does scream Streets of Cairo. Great job!

Jason, I am continually impressed with the eye you have not only for details, but even for the things that so many of us miss...
I've watched the "Making Of" Show maybe a dozen times in my life, but never once did that nifty little cap Ford wears really register in my brain... But leave it to you to not miss a thing!

A very interesting variation on the theme. I especially like the detail you've included on the brim.

Very cool. Being cloth, though, does it have to be reshaped every time you put it on?
