I'm sure with Tony's completely unexpected passing and then Riley having to come in and get up to speed so that paid orders could be filled, updating their website quickly dropped on their list of priorities. From my understanding with talking with Han Jones, he is in pretty much constant contact with Riley and was asked to fill us in.

I was trying to sympathize with the COW staff and mods that were asked to keep the news under wraps that Riley would be continuing the business until Tony's website could be updated with an announcement orders will be taken again. But if you go to Tony's website it says 'call NOW' to place an order.

So as a COW member trying to be sensitive I might check Tony's site to see if there is an announcement and seeing "call NOW" I call and then word gets back to the COW staff that word "leaked out" that Tony's shop will continue. Couple that with Riley working with members here to fill paid orders and there's a lot of confusion by the COW staff trying to do the right thing, but not knowing what that right thing is.

I don't mean to sound like I'm criticizing Riley. The loss of a parent is horrific and especially when there is a family business involved and an ongoing interest to be mantained. I wish only the best for him, his family and all those who worked so closely with Tony and are trying to soldier on.

Regards,

Indiana Jeff

Understood. I realize that the staff might have gotten put in an awkward situation and I sympathize as well. My point was I'm sure it wasn't intentional, just a result of the nature of the situation.

Guys, wasn't it mentioned that they are still trying to find out who did the website for them? :-k If so, the trouble of finding the guy would explain why the website does not reflect the current state of affairs,

Ah, here it is:
Han Jones wrote:As for an announcment on the website don't expect one soon as still don't even know who was taking care of it. As with any business you can't just let it sit for months and not do anything with it no matter how bad you feel about someones passing. Like i said Riley and I are in constant communication so any annoncment will most likly come from him or me.
Made bold for clarity.

Alright, so:

How much are Nowak jackets?
(ballpark for the sensitive misers)
Will the business accept new orders?
What's the estimated date of resuming business
What was the turn around time from order to receipt?

Depends on leather $750-$975
New orders? No one knows, soon though.
Turn around time just depends. Perfection takes time.
