My Pankot professor outfit

Post by Kredepops »

Here's the very fashionable 'Pankot Professor look', modelled by the lovely doctor Jones. Yes he's a bit pale today :) (I still have to paint my Howard S. bust)

Glasses are Savile Row Panto Beauford from FramesDirect.com

Tweed Jacket is vintage from 'the bay' only cost me $10 + shipping!!!! it only needed to be slightly modified. It had one 'vent' on the back that was sewn closed and the flower button hole on the laple was added. The seamtress also removed some leather details on the pockets, after that it was perfect!

Butterfly is Magnoli's Pankot bowtie

Shirt and pants are MBA (Noel Howard)

Shoes are Alden 405 that I've darkened considerably with leather dye.

Thank you all! :notworthy:

I've been looking at Steer Pike's Magnoli Pankot tweed for so long, but it's a bit out of my price range, so when I found that tweed jacket on ebay, I just had to have it. There are so many tweed jackets, but it's hard to finde one that has all the right features, not to mention the right size.

I wore the outfit myself at a John Williams tribute concert a few days ago, unfortunately they didn't play any music from the Indy movies (weird right?) but a few other danish gearheads recognized the outfit immediately.

I always liked how Indy was able to "dress up" for the unexpected occasion, even when on an adventure! Was the jacket and tie rolled up in his bags, or were they courteously provided by the palace host? :-k

Great work, as usual!!! :notworthy:

I'm loving that jacket!
Great find and great outfit.
And if you have dinner wearing any of it, watch out for the soup;)

Thanks :) Yes I will definitely wear it out to dinner, tweed is so underrated these days. With jeans and a nice shirt, it looks very nice yet casual.

Hehe, yeah I'll be careful with the soup especially if it's the 'human eyeballs variant' ;)
