Knowing Peter... he might be making arrangements for new ones of those, too.

I would just like to say, PETER- THANKS EVER SO MUCH.

You have no idea what this means to me. For a very long time now I have been wanting to own a pair of trousers and a shirt exactly like Harrison's in the Indy trilogy! The fact that they are very much affordable now is fantastic and for me, the fact that I live in England is great as well!

Just out of curiousity, I am right in saying that these items will be made from scratch for members of the Indy community?

Many thanks. :P

This is great news indeed. I missed out on MBA and thought I would never get a quality shirt and pant for under $100 - $300. Peter, thank you kind sir.

Cheers,
Jeff

It'll be weird / cool to see the Wested Leather tag sewn inside the pants and shirt from now on. I wonder if this will make the original M.B.A. clothing more collectible and sought-after? I'd like to imagine that future generations to the hobby will view our vintage Noel Howard gear with reverence and awe, sort of like: "Wow... That was the very first authentic Indy costume."

Peter,

I think you can see from the response thus far how much of a void you have just filled with this bunch. I cannot tip the fedora deeply enough to do justice to your magnanimity. Outstanding! May Father Christmas be as generous to you and yours as you have (again) proven to be to us!

I personally cannot wait for the shirt and pants! Hopefully they'll be made soon because I really need these for everyday wear now. Thanks for all your hard work Peter.

P.S. - Peter, you might want to make a bunch of them right away because I have a hunch people are going to buy them like hotcakes!

Merry Christmas to all.

After reading all these supportive posts for Peter, I guess I have to be the Grinch, the proverbial wet blanket. It is admirable that Peter is doing this, but the only differnces between the Indy shirt and Cabela's safari shirt is the color (stone), and the the box pleats above and below the pockets. The Cabela shirt is $24.95. Call me cheap (I am), but $28 is just too much to put a couple of pleats in a shirt. I grouse, but probabbly will buy one, but no way will I spend $100 for a pair of pants. I wear my Indy gear every day, so for pants I will stay with L.L. Bean's fine twills in taupe, regularly $78.95, now on sale for $49.95.

Cheers,

While I probably won't go out and buy 5 sets of pants and shirts either,
I'll probably eventually pick up a pair of pants and a shirt for those special
occasions when I want to be completely and accurately dressed in the
gear. I don't wear a tuxedo very often either, but when I got married I
bought mine so I'd have it for special occasions. Same idea.

This is a great price for both items. I'll definitively order the shirt!

Thanks Peter!

Hey Tom,
If you get a new shirt for your avatar, it looks like he'll need a bib too!

This is excellent news Peter!

I was never able to shirt and pants from NH but I'm sure yours will be done extremely well if the jacket you made for me is any indication.

Thanks!
