Thanks!

I don't know about that, lol, I know this jacket has been around but Todd's has a custom jacket and this "Coyle's" version. I've been on Todd's website before and I don't remember seeing a "Coyles" version?

The one you speak of is just the Todd's Standard. There are MANY people who have one on here, just look over the thread titles in the jacket section.

I found the thread and I think my next jacket is a Todd's "Coyle's" jacket. Very nice!

They're ALL Coyle's. Todd's brand, it is Coyle's. Very simple.

I did the same thing-- returned it. It was simply ill-fitting. The collar and the pockets seemed disproportionate to the rest of the jacket and the shoulders didn't rest properly.

Thats exactly how the radiers jacket should fit. its a 'wrong' made jacket.

I posted a thread about it. And most agreed that my jacket was off. It was the first topic I ever started here on the board.

I have a Todd's Standard that has become one of my favorite jackets. It's the perfect jacket for spring or early fall. And, as has been said before, don't let the "costumes" part fool you. It's not a costume jacket all. The only thing that's wrong with my jacket (bought second-hand and worn quite a bit since) is a broke seam in the lining.

True of the original jacket. Todd did say he 'corrected' his pattern from this error of the original though.

Mine fit nothing like the jacket in the film. It just fit wrong. If it rested on the shoulders as it does in the film, the rest of the jacket belled out. If the rest of the jacket sat comfortably the shoulders were nearly resting on my back.

There was an entire topic devoted to it, I think this can be continued there.

If you've seen all four films, which I assume most of you have, Ford's jacket never really fit him perfectly, I think, it just kind of drapes over him. Some of the shots it appears snug and in others, loose fitting. Even the leather is different. If you watch L.C., in the beginning of the film his jacket almost seems like a windbreaker, very thin. In Crystal Skull it appears heavier, a little on the bigger side.I don't know, just an observation, or maybe I'm just full of it, lol.

Yup definitely ill-fitting. It had this weird shape to it. It poked out like belly-d out. It looked like a bell too..
I have a thread somewhere I think..

The Standard jacket arrives in a box, and has folds, etc., that makes it look like it was made that way. But once you add lotion, etc., break it in, it's a nice jacket. Its thin leather, so you have to limber it up some, otherwise it will fit strangely for awhile.

...the point is that many of these situations can be alleviated with pre-conditioning, wear and use, while the other side is that sometimes, someone's body type may not fit the slim cut Raiders style. If so, then maybe the fuller cut LC/CS jacket might be a better option...?
