Thanks. I'm about to make a Seaplane hat for Crismans, and another for myself in the next week or so, depending on when certain bodies arrive; and will be able to provide more data in a similar way to that scene. There's a ton of wide angle lens distortion - I'm curious to know how wide that ribbon really is. I'm sure Erri is betting 43mm. I will hopefully be able to get it worked out within a millimetre or 2.

Yes, also based on the fact that no 38mm ribbon ever looked like a good match to the seaplane hat, but there is always space for doubt as with everything.

Just got back from the warehouse of one of my suppliers. Went through a TON of ribbon. Nothing over 38mm. I'll confirm the ribbon height first before continuing to look, as it may be bit of trouble.
