Shirt: Very good close enough at SEARS

Post by aichdawg »

Hi All,

I'm trying to kick the COW habbit, so I wont likely log in to answer questions or continue the thread, but I wanted to share with everyone a GREAT close enough shirt I found at SEARS:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1260 ... 000P?mv=rr

Unfortunately, the online store doesn't offer the "natural" color that I want to rave about, but the link above gives you an idea for the design of the shirt. In addition to the design inaccuracies, this shirt is linen. But its close enought that it may be worth a trip (or at least a phone call) to the mall to see if your local SEARS has the "natural" in your size.

The "natural" color is PERFECT. It drapes just like the movie shirt. and at just $20, I bought two and plan to use my sewing machine to 'frankenstein' them together for a more accurate design.

Even with the design imperfections, I prefer the cut/fit of this shirt 10 times over my wested shirt (no offense Peter and co.)

Interesting. I've never seen this style before with the pattern starting beneath the pockets. It's a very good close enough indeed. Good find!

They went to all the trouble of putting those Indy strips underneath the pockets...what would it have taken to continue all the way up? Arrggghh! ](*,)
