Package Day!

Post by hollywood1340 »

It's here! My 7' Jacka DeLongis. I'm still processing this whip. But here is a picture of a very happy me!

First impressions are this is a very light whip. About has heavy as my Huntress nylon DeLongis. The handle has a very small amount of flex in it and the plaiting is amazing. But it performs like nothing I own. Even new and stiff it does what I ask, when I ask it with no questions asked.

No whip I've ever had preforms at this level out of the box. The first continuing the line is proof of that. If you're thinking of one, get it.

Congrats James!

My first real roo whip was a Jacka standard with 10 inch handle and I still crack it more than my others. When you get a chance, can you take some close up shots of it?

Crack On! :whip:

That's one gorgeous whip, James. Can't help but ask: what about the tape before and after the ring knot in your nylon whip?

The tape is a DeLongis thing you can see it on his whips. It denotes length, one for seven, two for eight. I use one for six, two for seven, three for eight. I like the color blue so that is the color I use, he uses silver mylar tape.
