Azuma shirt possibility?

Post by knibs7 »

This is mainly geared toward Azuma, but I'd also like to have feedback on everyone's opinions...
1) Azuma, do you think you will try and produce a TOD shirt?
2) Would everyone be interested in one?

I know I would be.

I bought two of his latest LC shirts and would be game for any of the other film shirts.

Personally, I always thought the ToD shirt in the palace...esecially the thuggee strangled with the whip and ceiling fan scene..that shirt looks Azumaesque. Probably the lighting. But, yes.....Azuma ToD shirts good.....I'd buy one :o

Hi guys,

Thank you for asking. And yes, we will do a small run for TOD shirt, and will have both regular version and pre-battle damaged version(with one sleeve-less). In the main time, we will get new sample of the lighter colored buttons. For those who prefer lighter colored buttons on the LC shirt should be happy this time. :TOH:. Will keep you updated.

Best regards,

The ephaulets are placed differently on each shirt. Check out Azumas shirt chart and that will explain the differences between the shirts from all 4 movies.

Hi everyone,

If you are interested in the TOD shirts, please kindly send me an email at "hamsolo@hotmail.com" with your desired size according to my LC size chart listed in the link below, and as well as your actual mesurements on neck, chest, waist, shoulder accross, and sleeve length. Thank you for your time.

Are these projected to be the same price as the LC shirt?

I'd say, the price should be the same as LC. However, since TOD will be done in small quantity, so probably there will be a minor difference.

BTW, I need to collect the list by April 10th, 2010, and send it to the studio. The studio will try to squeeze TOD shirts in thier production. Hopefully we can have the TOD shirts ready in the mid of May.

EMAIL SENT! :TOH: As the medium LC shirt fits me fine I just went with that rather then give all my measurements.
Looking forward to seeing these done.

Hi, XL will not be available. However, we will provide custom-made LC/TOD shirts for larger size in the near future.

Azuma, may I assume you'd be willing to do a custom smaller size in the future as well? The standard size small is still too big for me. About how much would a custom shirt cost (rough estimate okay)? Thanks!

Yes, smaller size would be possible. As for the price, the studio hasn't calculated the cost for custom-made service. Have to wait until they evaluate the custom-made process.

Just a quick update. Due to lack of interests (we only received less than 10 requests), The TOD shirt is now postponed to be produced in June.

I'm also in the need for an XL. How big can you make larger sized customs?

Azuma,

I have a LC shirt from you and I believe it is a medium. My chest is definitely a 42 inch measurement, not 40 so will your medium TOD shirts be 40 or 42 in the chest. My neck is exactly 16, so the 16.5 " worn open collar will be fine.

I will be down for one regular and one torn sleeve.

Indiana Croft, the shoulder will be 0.5" wider than regular on your shirt.

JC1972, Custom-made option is still under evaluation. We will have the final discussion with the studio after TOD shirts are done. We will try to make XL shirt available here.

Indiana MarkVII, TOD shirts are made based on the same size chart as the LC shirts. unfortunately, as we only received low numbers from the interest check, there are only a few shirts were made this run, and we do not have extra shirts available for sell, but if there is a slot for grab, I will keep you posted.

Awesome news, I love my two LC shirts (still angry that a waiter busted the tip and sprayed ink on one of them, but it's okay). Can't wait for one of these.
Will there be a website for these?

Yup, there were only 13 shirts made this time, that's the number of the interest check we received. We try not to keep inventory like we did for LC batches this time. It was pain in the neck, had to store all shirts at home, and had fund stuck in it... Wives (mine and Sam's) were not happy about it.

Any way, if someone back out from the TOD run, I will put them on for sell. And if there are more inquiries for TOD shirts, we will definitely do another run.

Best regards,
Azuma
