Hi All-
Greetings from wonderful Montana!
Haven't been on for a while but I have a question for the minds out there.
I just inherited one of the clearance lambskin US Wings from a few years ago and it is a tad too small. I'd like to stretch it out a bit around the chest/torso area.
Any suggestions for doing this? I've used hot water to shrink but never to stretch.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from folks.

Re: Leather Stretch
How much too small is it? Is the jacket still unworn?
If it isn't much 'too small' now and unworn it will likely 'stretch' just by wearing constantly.
Otherwise I don't think you'll get that much extra 'stretch' out of it.

Hardly worn at all. I gave it to my Dad for Father's Day a few years ago and he's worn it less than 5 times in the 3 years.
Clearly, I didn't get the Indy gene from him.
I just started to wear tonight and am already seeing some stretch. I'll keep doing it for a bit and see if that helps.
What's funny is that it is a medium I got him but I've been wearing an XL in the ones that I bought. It is a weird cut that almost fits perfect.

Re: Leather Stretch
that might be why it was on clearance? Slightly mislabeled for size.
Wear it as 'constantly' as you can and you may find it starts to feel right.

And others in the 'know' may correct me on this, but I *think* getting it wet beforehand may also help speed up the process? Although doing so may also speed up the distressing too, so...

Personally, I'd just wear it first and leave wetting it as a last resort.
