Sorry Graeme, I couldn't wait to post those shots.

I stuck your photos in your other Raider's thread as soon I got home and had the chance to post them.

It looks great on the big screen; I only had my phone earlier today to review the shots you sent.

Thanks again!

Graeme,

You're killin' me man!! Each one you post looks better than the last!
(Congrats Mountaineer!!, that's a killer lookin' whip!!)

However, I think I may have a buyer for one of my vintage guitar parts, so be expecting an order from me very soon. \:D/

By the way, do you have any shots of your TOD whips?

Hey Graeme!

Beautiful whip as always!

I had a hard time deciding between getting a TOD or LC whip and got the LC. I can't wait for it!

Graeme,

Just a head's up, this whip got to NY and in the hands of the USPS on the evening of 27 March.

I checked the mail tracker this morning and saw that notification.

Thanks again.

Yes, but I'm patient. Then again, our weather been good outside whip-use weather.

I have a 4-day weekend coming up, and our weather is supposed to be outstanding; so if it shows up in the next couple of days I'll have sufficient chance to use it.

Checked USPS page this morning, it arrived at my home post office.

Fingers crossed that it shows up at the house this afternoon.

EDIT: Got the whip with today's mail; my wife signed for it. Perfect timing on the postal service's part.
I got my new Fiebing's Aussie Leather Conditioner yesterday too. Looks like a long whip-cracking weekend is in store...

Graeme,

VERY pleased with the whip!! Talk about easy to crack! Very easy and quite loud.

My initial impression is that I can really see Bernie's influence in your whip making. Thickness of the whip is pretty much between Bernie's and Gus' whips.

As I get more into working with it and taking pics this weekend, I'll write and show some more.

I'm no whip expert, but for those of you who may be on the fence, give Graeme's whips some serious consideration.

I'm glad I did.

Thanks also for the extra fall and (5) crackers.

Hey congratulations Mountaineer!
I'm giving my Midlands whip a serious workout as I'm on my Easter holiday in a rural area with plenty o' whip cracking space! Enjoy you long weekend and CRACK that whip!
Cheers!

Yep, its definitely gone a couple of shades darker, although this has been a really rainy Easter week here in "sunny Spain" :( , so the whip hasn't gotten much Sun exposure. I was able to take a few videos & pics. I'll put 'em up as soon as I can.

This whip is very easy to crack and is breaking in quite well.

I spent the better part of the afternoon/evening outside cracking it, hitting targets and doing various combos. It worked like a champ and didn't wear my arm out.

I've not weighed it, but it feels between the two I already owned. (Mentioned previously here: http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=45646)
