I have always heard that the TOD jacket was not made by Wested but some French company. Was it ever discovered what the company was and have they ever been approached? I know that Noel had one of their jackets.

The original jackets WERE made by Wested, but they needed more, and as soon as possible while on location. A French company was contacted and several more made. Ford reportedly did not like them, and only used them when he had to. Nobody has been able to discover the name of the company to date. I can only guess why, as why should a company give out the name of a competitor, boosting THEIR sales of an inferior jacket, from all reports? Regards. Michaelson
