Hey cool thanks for the comments. You know I could do that. Now it would be even better if I had all the names to go with the whips huh.. I'll see if I can post up some with who they belong to. Might get some more people involved in the beauty and art of the whips.

Thanks for posting the video Gus! I just wish I had been at my best that day. I think there are a few other videos of can cutting on YouTube that show what I can do a little better. One problem that day is that no one at the Whip Enthusiasts weekend wanted to let me use a full, unopened can of pop/soda. In the video we used an empty can with a bit of water in it. It's possible to cut empty cans in half, but it's way more challenging.

A chain mail whip? How did I miss that when I was out there. Way cool! I bet that would leave some big ouchies on the skin if you messed up.

Naw, I didn't make it. Working with chainmail is totally different than working with leather or nylon. A guy named Michael Deveny made it.

Adam let me have a crack at one of his chainmail whips, a 6 footer I believe. It was like throwing a brick, it was pretty heavy and, in my opinion, none of the usual characteristics of a roo whip. It simply few out there, cracked hard and tugged at your arm-so much weight of all that steel. And you really had to control where it went otherwise ouch!
