goooooorgeous!!

And certainly lots of work!! Cowhide, and 3ft must be really hard work!!
Well done Gus!

ONe point I'd suggest: the ring knot could be more esthetic if placed just a little higher on the handle(just to cover the transition handle checkerboard-thong cowtail), if you see what I mean?
What do you think?

Hey thanks for all the great comments. Jeanfifi I see what you are talking about. And wow how did I miss that. See I was on vacation last week so I was kinda doing nothing but whip making and I started making almost 2 whips a day. Full size in the day and minis at night. I didn't even have the whip long enough to see it.

But I made some more and here are the pics..

Just got a mini/belt whip from Gus, and this thing is so dang cool. It's three feet, and looks like, well, a mini whip. As soon as I took it out, I gave it a crack and it cracked nice and loud. As usual, it has excellent workmanship and Gus's trademark customer service. Honestly, I can't put this little whip down--just too much fun. Thanks again, Gus!

Hey Gus,
I ended up with that whips "Big Brother"

I picked up one of your 6 footers at the Cairo Bazaar. (The price was so good, I just couldn't pass it up!)
I gotta say, you did a great job on this whip my friend. It is one of my favorites and the one I usually use when I want to learn a new crack.
