Great jacket. What I like - and it's hard to explain - is the confidence of the Nowak execution of the design. All the elements are intergrated and the jacket doesn't feel lumpy and uneven the way some other makers do them. The jacket just looks balanced and right... although I'm still not sure about the shrunken lamb, your jacket however looks pretty dang wonderful in it.

It is a very nice jacket, pockets are too large for my tastes, but then its not my jacket.

Looks awsome though.

Yep. Thanks for resizing.

Looks a lot like mine, though mine has a bit of distressing to it. Reminds me that I'll have to get pics posted of mine.

Well, Ill say it again... PERFECTION!!!

Nowak makes the most impressive Raiders jacket out there. Unfortunately for me, his is also the most impressive price! But in terms of craftsmanship, he seems right up there with Good Wear and Aero, so his pricing is right in line, I suppose. I was going to treat myself to an Aero Half-Belt once I'm out of grad school and back in the full-time working world, but due to their recent price hike, I may have to consider a Nowak...

mb, I'm curious to know... can you share any dimensions with us?
I'm curious about what size you would "normally" wear in a jacket.
Are you a Size 38? 42?
Any info you'd like to share would definitely be helpful (and appreciated!)
Thanks for posting these great pictures!

As I said before, I love that second version of the shurunken lamb. It drapes so much like the Iman house jacket.
Weare it in health and never take it off.

Sorry to say, but your jacket seems to me like a 34-36 size and the pockets are too big i.e. they are not proportionally smaller as they should be IMHO.

Everybody else thinks it great?

Frog, I think what you may be noticing is the sharp edge pocket outline making it stand out or be a little more ''visible' since the jacket is new and not been broken in /worn much yet....with the original SL with little more grain and a light distressing if you request from Tony , it has a more worn/broken in look straight out of the box and the pockets blend in more from the start....

I think Hatch is right the pocket outline stands out more at moment because jacket is new. Photos were taken straight out of the box so jacket has not had time to get broken in yet.

thanks for the comments guys.

I know you guys here are always trying to be polite, but I don't think that being so much polite by telling absurd lies so not to hurt mb1101's feelings about the jacket he bought is really what he expects.

Am I the only one here who sees that the pockets account for almost half of the jacket's front panels?

Holt, you have another thread showing one of the latest jackets you got and you say it's pretty good and you are happy with it. In that jacket of your the pocket size looks fine. OK I undertand it's a different size, but I don't see any similarities in the analogies with this one.

I'm with Frogman on the size of the pockets, they seem a wee bit big to me. But Like I said its Mb's jacket and if he's happy with it then thats the main thing.

Re: the pockets.

I believe that if you take it off and beat it on the pavement it will help break it in so that pockets will not stand out so much and then it will be a prefect Raiders jacket
instead a just new perfect Raiders.

Seriously, I like the pocket size, they look more usable.

Very beautiful!! I must ask and I hope I'm not being to bold but what does a Nowak cost? He doesn't even post prices on his site. Yikes!! :CR:  Maybe out of my league.
