Looks great Cyrano!

Is it the jacket you've always wanted, or are you still partial to any certain one from your wested collection?

also, care to elaborate the significance of Dec. 2 for the french? Some members may not know and might be interested as most are history buffs to one degree or another (and I could be wrong in thinking it has to do with the close of the french revolution).

and to keep the thread on topic, how that tied in to your reasoning on ordering the jacket on that date.

So what do you think of that 747 cowhide ??

Now you just have to change your hat, moussaillon! ;)

747 cow 25 % cheaper than SL
Dollar at it lowest in december
No custum fees

570 euros jacket shipped (Wested 220)

Worth a try with TN

Back from a long and very early jogging in the sunrise, swiming in a bath of endorphines: here is the man on the phone with his warm and bewitched voice.

A moment I shall recall my whole life long

specs easyly settled

Problem : I'd rather have been desapointed by the jacket. How will I renounce to a Nowak Goat ?

Wearing a Wested always was a pride, Wearing a Nowak is a responsability

Beautiful jacket. Visually, the 747 looks very much like the 'Holy goat' jacket I have.
You will certainly love this baby. Can you show us a picture with the jacket zipped up? That's one of the things I like about the Nowak Raiders: it looks gorgeous that way.
Congratulations,
Rask

Beautiful jacket. That 747 is my most favorite leather of any I've had. It's terrific stuff that only gets better.

Wearing a Nowak is a responsability
: I am Indiana Jones am I not ?

I love my wested : 8 jackets, not a single loose stich. Perfect all seasons in / outdoor jacket. matching many scenes of the movies.

Perfect for the quiet teacher and pater familias almost 50 years old I am.

Now, my Nowak took me back 20 years and droped me in the jungle of south America

I do know that wont be much help for most readers of this board trying to find objective advices to make a decision for their next purchase.

In a few months I might be able to present a more objective review

My only worry is about the zipper. I went with the 5 gauge, looks a bit light . No problem so far time will tell, but next one will be 8.

I went with HF specs (6 feet / 74 kg) adding one inch in the front, 2 in the back and in the sleeves.

Thank you very much to all of you.

Who said that the Indiana jones jacket doesn't look nice zipped up?
I think it looks fantastic. You have a great jacket: use it and abuse it. You will see how it gets just better and better.

You should be fine with that 5 gauge zipper, it is a good one.
