My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
It's looking better and better I think! Developing some good Raiders type creases

Looking good! Very SA. The first photo shows you're well on your way to this:

Looks great! Keep wearing it. I mean.... sleep in the thing ya know? It looks like it will only get better.
Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
LOL yes I've pretty much been doing that! Much to the amusement of the people I work with...

Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
Looks great! More and more Raiders everyday.
How is the fitin the arms, specifically the arm holes? In the first picture it looks like it might be a little tight or is it just the way your arm is turned? Just wondering. Nice jacket, you wear it well. Some day a Magnoli will be mine...

Very nice jacket that does indeed keep looking better and better. It's a testament to Magnoli's jackets.

Thanks all.
No the arm holes feel fine to me - not tight or uncomfortable in any way. It's quite an '80's fit' as far as the arms go but that's what I wanted as I feel it captures the look better. To be honest I don't think these pictures do it justice. It looks better in the flesh (honest!). I really can't fault it as a Raiders jacket and as much as I like to spend money it's difficult to imagine a better one for what I want
Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
Like I have said before, Indygear needs more of Magnoli's Indygear
Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
Yup. And Magnoli always seems to be forgotten in the Wested/Novak/Todd 'what jacket shall I get?' debate...

Actually in those threads Magnoli's get brought up and asked about fairly often.djd wrote:Yup. And Magnoli always seems to be forgotten in the Wested/Novak/Todd 'what jacket shall I get?' debate...
People who own them don't usually say much. I'm glad to see you have. Now we know the Magnoli Raider is being made from a new better pattern.
I'd like to see photos of the other Magnoli Indy jackets. ToD, LC especially.
Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
I'd love to see an example of his TOD as well. I've really been considering getting that jacket from Magnoli for variety's sake.

Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
Thanks for the back jacket pics. I like the sliders that Magnoli uses. I think that some might say that they are not 100% SA, I think that most will say that they should tri-glides, but I like what Mag. uses.
I do not mean to to be a pest but could you take a close up of the sliders on your jacket sometime?...
Are they brass or silver colored?

Re: My Magnoli Raider after a week of wear
Silver - as you say not SA but look good and are big enough to be able to pass the strap back through (as in the pic above)

Great looking jacket, DJD!
There's an evil part of me that wants to inquire about your bottom lip though...

Looking sharp bro
I like the last one, you looked puzzled what to do with the idol now that you've obtained it, don't worry Beloch will sort that out for you ...

And here was I thinking he was looking at his reflection in the idol, going "What's that on my bottom lip?"Cannuck_Indy_Fan wrote:I like the last one, you looked puzzled what to do with the idol now that you've obtained it, don't worry Beloch will sort that out for you ...

You could always send him a razer as a late secret Santa gift if you wanted, or it shall haunt your dreams When I try to grow one of those my girl nixes it right away ...Indiana Joosse wrote:And here was I thinking he was looking at his reflection in the idol, going "What's that on my bottom lip?"Cannuck_Indy_Fan wrote:I like the last one, you looked puzzled what to do with the idol now that you've obtained it, don't worry Beloch will sort that out for you ...

LOL. I've had silly facial hair since my late 20's yet somehow I always think of it as a temporary aberration!
