Which Pecards product do you use?

Post by Nos402 »

I have a Todd's Standard (and also a Magnoli U-boat jacket) and was wondering which Pecard's product would be best. My roommate has a tub of the "weatherproof dressing" in the black tub with the red label that he got for his leather bag strap and I used it on both jackets. Seems to have been fine but I just want to use the best product for my jackets. There seem to be a ton of different ones on the pecards site! The reason we were wondering is this tub says it's for all "smooth oil-tanned leathers".

If you look in the "Gear care and distressing" forum there's a sticky thread about this very subject :TOH: You will find all the info you need there, and if not ask and you will receive help by those who know ;)

Regards, Geert

EDIT: this is a locked thread (so you can't ask questions), but has some good info: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7211&p=79463#p79463

Thanks! I knew it had to be a sticky somewhere! Apparently I'd just missed it!
