fire whip cracking set to 'Paranoid'

Post by winrichwhips »

I saw the new 'Iron Man 2' trailer and just had to go out and crack whips. I ended up making a couple of fire whip videos set to Black Sabbath's 'Paranoid'.

In one version I wear a gray shirt, in the other a black shirt. Let me know which video you guys think is better.

Black Shirt:

Gray Shirt:

I did the black shirt version after a few more rehearsals, with the hopes of making it better/tighter, though the gray shirt version has some cool stuff going on as well.

Also, the fire whips are made by Riz at www.firewhip.com, for anyone that wants/needs one.

Outstanding my friend!! That was just to cool!! I love your mind set to-lets see, cool movie trailer, best get the fire whips out and do an interpretative whip cracking sequence to Sabbath's Paranoid-best use the fire whips-Ozzy would want it that way!! The only thing I can say is that you need to do it to the whole song, so an assistant is needed to hand you a second set of fire whips to make it. Again that was outrageous man!!!!!

Edit: Oh I just remembered!!!! This is going to be too cool. We can watch youtube through our blue ray player, hooked to the 50" plasma and the 270 watt surround sound system!!!!!! Yea baby!!!!

To the uninitiated, how do you light your whips on fire without destroying them?

The whips are specially made from Kevlar to hold fuel and to last over several burns. Don't go lighting your leather whip on fire!

:o WOW! I've gotta see your performance live one day. Love it!

As far as which one I like more, I think I like the one with you in grey. You show up better in it.

Way COOL! Great vids Adam. I think I like the grey shirt one a bit better. I like the intro with the whips cracking fire straight into the camera. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Wow.... :o That was freaking awesome! I don't know if I myself would crack a burning whip, but it does look very interesting. How do you put the fire on the whip out, just crack it really hard or something? Both videos are awesome, the one in the grey shirt does able to see you more, but both videos are spectacular display of a fire whip in action.
