I have plenty of MKVIIs of different make, I also was looking for that long loop but they are really rare to come by. A member on COW had one like that but these long loops seems to be quite a rarity. Possibly factory mistakes so looking for the same maker is not enough. You either are lucky to get a long loop or you aren't.
More on the maker of the bags... it is often suggested, or hint, that in shooting Indiana Jones movies they only used a couple of bags. The fact that W+G popped up in an auction doesn't mean that W&G is the most screen accurate bag ever or that is even the "hero" one, nor the only one. For the films production they had a high number of MKVIIs, surely of many different brands. I wouldn't get fixated on specific brands.

Re: RAIDERS and TOD GAS MASK BAG ?
Well, I took the loop off the strap and retrofitted it, so now I have a RAIDERS bag.
Re: RAIDERS and TOD GAS MASK BAG ?
Could also be the same thing that happened to the Raiders bagsithspawn wrote:Well, I took the loop off the strap and retrofitted it, so now I have a RAIDERS bag.
Re: RAIDERS and TOD GAS MASK BAG ?
Probably not because I have proof that the Raiders bag came with the bigger side loop because I have a bag just like it and it hasn't been modified

Haha yes I am. It's funny because I never even thought to check until this thread started and that's when I noticed I had a very rare bag.Erri wrote:Lucky man
