My Three Jackets (Pics)

Post by Forrest For the Trees »

Okay, now that I have photo capability, I may as well share jacket pics...

First up is my nearly 4 year old Wested Dark Brown Lamb, size 40, custom standard, no special requests:

Next is my nearly two year old Wested Authentic Brown Goat, size 38, custom standard, no special requests, treated with Pecards and boot oil:

And last is my recently acquired (probably 8 years old?) US Wings, Large (44?), Kangaroo skin:

The Roo Wings is too big, but the other two have a nice fit. Notice the Goat is about 1/2 inch shorter than the Lamb, which I like. I invite any comments...

Thanks guys for the thumbs up for the goat jacket. It's taken a while for that jacket to start looking as good as it does. The boot oil definitely made a difference in knocking down the color a bit and relaxing the leather. Still, I wear the lambskin jacket most often, because it is lighter in weight and feels more natural to me since I've had it longer. Ideally, I would just own one of these jackets, and it alone would be perfect  . Well, we all know how that goes...
