How to measure the back length....

Post by John Falcon »

Sorry if this was covered before...I coudn't find this in searches.

I want to order a washed goat Wested Raiders jacket. I notice they need a back measurement. Does anyone know how to do this? I assume you start at where the jacket collar would be and go down..but down to the waist or down to what you want the length of the jacket to be?

Think if I give them the sleeve, chest and my height they can figure it out? I'd call but my phone won't let me call international.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't count on it. Check the length of an existing jacket that you like and go with that. Don't forget to measure from the bottom of the collar stand.

Notice too, their usual sizing pattern:

The jacket measurement is from the bottom of the collar stand to the end of the jacket...that is, 1-3" below the bottom of the belt, depending on if you prefer the jacket to fit as a 'short' pattern, or below.
