TOD bag buckle?
Is the TOD buckle used on Indy's bag the same kind used in LC and CS? I have one I got from KT Templer for the CS version and it looks spot on. From PICS on the IndyGear it looks like the TOD might be the same, but I couldn't be sure. Thought you experts might be able to confirm this.

TOD/LC/CS all used the roller buckle.

The only difference with the TOD/LC/CS roller buckle is that the TOD roller buckle was bent INward.

So I take it the buckle for CS is EXACTLY the same style, type that was used in TOD? I have a buckle with the roller that I got from Lee Keppler in 89, made in England that is alot thicker. Looks like something used in horse harnesses. If the TOD and CS are the same I can't use that. I'll have to get another CS buckle.

Well there are two buckles they use for CS. One is the TOD/LC buckle on the hero strap that they pulled from the archives. The repro buckles used on the repro straps ARE much thicker. I've seen the screen used repro buckles, so if you post a pic, I can tell you whether or not it would work for your CS look.

The thicker buclkle I was talking about was something I got 20 years ago from Lee Keppler when I first started getting Indy gear. It is not very accurate. From the responses I've gotten and what few PICS I've seen I've come to the conclusion that TOD, LC, and CS use the Exact same brand/type buckle. They are just bent differently.
I actually doing a TOD look.

Yes, the Doom buckles bent OUTWARD.
The CS bags (and their straps) are just ex-LC stock.

Those buckles have a very slight curve to them as they come, if you install it back to front it might give that effect. Never tried it myself!

Well SOME of them were ex- LC stock (the ones used in close up shots and the first shot of Harrison as Indy that SS took) but in the majority of the movie, they are all repro straps and repro buckles.conceited_ape wrote: The CS bags (and their straps) are just ex-LC stock.
