Jacket + Pecards = ?
I recently placed a order for a new jacket 1 day in fact and have a couple of questions. First I have read about Pecards, what is it for, how do you use it , when and what type would be best for lambtouch. Second any one with this type of leather your thoughts comfort, duriblity, drape anything you would like to share.

The Pecards product you should consider is the lotion, usually called 'motorcycle leather lotion', or just 'Pecards leather lotion'. It cleans and conditions the leather, as well as adds water resistance to the material. It's best to apply it by hand once you receive your jacket, allow to completely air dry at room temps, then apply again as needed. Usually I use it twice a year...at the beginning and end of leather jacket season, as well as if you get totally soaked in a rain storm, apply after the jacket completely dries. An alternative product you can use is Lexol leather lotion. Works the same way.
The lambtouch will feel and drape just like lambskin. You just don't have to worry about snagging and tearing it like lambskin, as it's really cowhide. It's as durable as any cowhide, but not something you want to drag behind a truck either. It's a great middle of the road jacket, if you're wanting Raiders style drape and weight of the original, but a LOT tougher than lambskin. Regards. Michaelson
