My Jacket.....'tis the season....

Post by JRabbit »

Fall has resurfaced here in Houston, just enough to throw my new Wested back on.

DANG, I love this thing. :D

Its not warm enough any more here for my Wested, I'm wearing my parka  But my new TN Raiders jacket will be here next week sometime, so hopefully it warms up a bit. In Welland, we pretty much went from Summer to one week of Fall, to Winter temperatures. Not cool (no pun intended  ) Its like 35 degrees right now.

I've actually been able to wear my leathers for about two weeks now. Usually, it gets too warm in the afternoon, but I'll take mornings and evenings. I even got to wear my new US Wings Goatskin in the rain, today!! \:D/

Oh yeah, I'm leather'ed up. Got out the heavy Fedora. My dilemma is ... I just got a new A-2 and I want to wear both ... so I alternate from one day to the next. By gawd we're an odd bunch! ;)

Here in Connecticut, we've seen snow the past couple of days. No accumulation, but winter temperatures. I've been wearing my Wested over knit sweaters with my AB Henry.

I had never heard of Muncie before "The Hudsucker Proxy" movie with Tim Robbins. Did that put Muncie on the map?

I mean besides Jami Ferrell and Michelle Baena of course.

Right around 50s all week (but 44 right now) so I've been wearing my new Nowak. Committed a crime today and wore my Wilson's Supernatural jacket instead.

Actually Close Encounters of the Third Kind took place in Muncie. Though none of the terrain looks anthing like it.

Ball Brothers (Ball canning jars) originated there , high school basketball crazy town too.

I've got at least one leather jacket for each major temperature bracket from fall to spring. The down side, my lambskin gets the least wear. It always seems to go from one extreme to the next very fast. :(

Yeah, but it's supposed to be back in the mid 70's by the end of the week, so we're not all the way there quite yet. :-s

Depending on the time of day (or night), it has been everywhere between 30 and 55 here. so far I've been able to layer up enough to keep wearing my TN Raiders, but next week I'll be in the Czech Republic where there's a layer of snow awaiting me. Time to switch to my LC Novapelle? :-k Let's just take both

Well, I guess I'll just have to celebrate on a day to day basis. There's a thick coat of frost on the Plymouth as I write this.....but they're forecasting temps near 80 by Wednesday....so I'll take what I can get. :?

Hummm......thinking that maybe a chicken stew might be in the future this weekend. =P~
