I'm not a whip guy at all. I've got a cheap piece of junk that I got in Mexico for a handful of pesos and it's hung on my belt for the last 6 years. Never been used, I just got it to balance out the Indy look when I put on all my gear. I'm at the point where everytime I look at it, I just want to toss it and I'm thinking it's about time to get something that looks like a real whip.
What would you folks suggest that I get in length, cost and perhaps maker. I really doubt that I'd ever use it, but I want it to "look right" and not like the piece of junk I've got now. BTW cost isn't a real factor, but again, it's pretty much going to be a display piece only.
Thanks....
Mike

$600? I paid $380 for my eight footer, great whip. Highly recommended.

Well, it's a good looking whip to be sure. I was thinking 8' though I'm not an expert by any stretch!

June '06. Eight footer is a good compromise between learning to crack and looking good, 10' is slower and more difficult to crack but looks better. Haven't cracked mine in a while.Tundrarider wrote:How long ago?

8' ???? Keeping in mind that, like I said, it will basically be a display piece.
