Questions about my new Wade Egan MkvII bag.

Post by Caber »

I just received my bag from Wade Egan. I like it alot but I have few questions.

First. it came with a Magnoli Clothers tag sowed on the inside . Did some of you other guys who ordered a Wad Egan come with that too?

Also are the vents at the bottom of the bag supposed to be usable? Mine has canvis between the vent holes and the inside of the hole . Is this correct ?

Wades bags come from Magnoli, or at least did.. I think he has a new version on the way. [check his thread in the vendor section]

I haven't a clue about the vents on the Magnoli bag. :-k

Yes, Wade uses Magnoli's bags. Just as Magnoli uses Wade's belts and whip holders.

I'm not sure about Magnoli's bags, but on my original MKVIIs, there is no canvas between the drainage holes. The holes ACTUALLY drain. (That is, if I'm understanding your question correctly)

The metal disc was used to attach the bag, as they were, in reality, worn on their chest.

There is a thread with photos that cover that metal button. I believe it goes like this... When you put the bag on, you've got that line and that wraps around your body and then the metal button. It helps to keep the bag from flapping around when the person wearing it is running and moving around.

They actually are supposed to vent air, The canister of the gas mask goes in that compartment. Without a gas mask I suppose they are drain holes :-k

Todd's bag holes are not blocked
