Thanks Peter for jumping in and clearing up this.

Steve, my inserts were made for non -Indy hats as well as Indy hats. I had a lot of customers concerned about pressure on the brim Thats why I had them made a bit lower.

What Peter and I are going to do is offer two different height and size inserts but you will need to give him or I some info.

We will have a low crown and a high crown height insert. If you DON"T want you brim touching the insert ask for the low crown. If you DON"T want your crown touching the bottom ask for a high crown insert. In addition to this there are two different sizes that the whole for the hat is. Large and Small. If you send Peter or myself your head measurements will will fit your size.

Peter , correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

Remember that Penman hat boxes are made for Penman hats and Adventurebilt is made for Adventurebilt hats. If you want to put a different hat inside the box. You have two options. Let us know so we can make sure it will fit your hat ( most likely it will). The other option is to have Peter make you a special box just for that hat. One other note, Peter cannot make hat boxes with other logo's on it. Example he can't put a HJ logo on a box because he would not have te rights to do so.

I went though as to order a AB box and there is a section just about the add to cart button that clearly states if you are outside of the US contact Peter. I don't know where you guys are getting these prices from. Clearly not from the site because I couldn't.

Has anyone ordered or received a hat box from Sarah's Hat Boxes recently? How long does it normally take to ship? Thanks!

I ordered a hatbox a couple months ago and got it within a couple days, but again I'm in Massachusetts right next to New Hampshire. ;) It probably depends on where you live.

Ordered one a couple of weeks ago. Didn't ship for about 9 days, arrived just under 2 weeks to the East coast, including weekends. Nice box, but if I had known it would take that long(no estimated shipping times on website that I could see, and I didn't specifically ask ahead of time....lesson learned...never assume), I would have probably ordered one of Penman's boxes instead. John was quick to ship with my Henry and communicated quickly and often. Having the AB logo on the box wasn't a deal maker/breaker for me...just quality, which it is. Just my two cents. Granted, two weeks isn't a long time to wait, but I am a little impatient.

I don't think this was covered... what size box is the AB/Penman one?
