Anyone bought one of these shirts?
I'm real close to buying one of these just to see. Seems to fit the "close enough" category.

Re: Anyone bought one of these shirts?
The buttons and shirt tail look unusual on that link. If I were going that route, I might be tempted to use this source from Singapore:
http://cgi.ebay.com/INDY-SHIRT-L-Safari ... 999.c0.m14
Anna also makes quality Indy shirts:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Pants-costume-for-I ... 999.c0.m14
Either one would be a good source.

Re: Anyone bought one of these shirts?
And she says she will ship "your dress". I'd probably steer clear...seems like there are some other proven, affordable options.
Re: Anyone bought one of these shirts?
I don't think it's necessarily a "steer clear" kind of thing, but the buttons ARE wrong. If you don't mind replacing them, this shirt doesn't look bad at all. The "your dress" comment is probably just a cut and paste typo, as she sells other garments, so I don't see it as anything to worry about.

Well ... at 33 bucks delivered I went ahead and bought one. I already have buttons to replace those on the shirt. I'll report when I get it.

Did you opt for one of their sizes, or custom made?
That's definitely "close enough" for me, and that seems like a steal for a tailored shirt.

It takes a big man to admit when he is in error. I myself thought I was in error once, but I was wrong.david3000 wrote:My apologies sir. It was a rotten thing to say.alphared6 wrote:david3000 wrote:To each her own!

Yeah, I got one of those shirts that i THINK is the Singapore one and its a CS version. The buttons are threaded on very loosely and easy to pull out, but to me that doesnt matter since I'm having my mom replace 'em with brown ones I found. Otherwise the shirt is excellent for the price.

That's good to hear! What kind of sizing information did you send? A shirt size or did you take all the measurements?

I think the ToD and LC buttons are actually more mid-grey with a touch of green. I can't find the olive ones anywhere.Indy_Werner wrote:Yeah, I got one of those shirts that i THINK is the Singapore one and its a CS version. That's the weird thing, the ones on the NH shirt... I can't find them anywhere in ToD.... perhaps in the bedchamber fight sequence, perhaps.
Looking at the shirt closely, minus the buttons it looks much more like a Raiders shirt.
Afraydnot can you find some of the khaki ones?

Fit fine to me. That's all I can say lol Only complaint I have is the buttons, but that's an easy fix.alphared6 wrote:How did it fit?Indy_Werner wrote:I just got an off the rack size.

Re: Anyone bought one of these shirts?
I got mine in the mail today. The picture the manufacturer uses on eBay does not do the shirt justice!
Now, for you stitch Nazis out there this shirt is not 100% S.A. but for the money it's WAY close enough!
Fits great! And I'd stay as far as quality goes it stacks up well against any of the more expensive shirts I've bought! What I like most is the length and square cut of the shirt tail. This won't come un-tucked as easy as others I have.
The color is a very light tan, or better yet an off white.
I'm going to replace the buttons with dark tan WWII shirt buttons.

That shirt does look good! Is the material noisy? That's one thing I can't take is a shirt which sounds like a tent flapping with every move.

I have it on right now. I hear no more ruffling than with any cotton/polyester shirt.
I'm going to order a second!

Re: Anyone bought one of these shirts?
Yes, I find it too short in the shirt tail, it jeeps pulling out of my trousers.
