Good alternative jacket company to US Wings?
I love my US Wings but I"d like to shop around for either A2s or Indys but I kinda know where the best Indys are
Re: Good alternative jacket company to US Wings?
I'm getting a US Wings Indy jacket next month. Strangely, they don't seem to be too common here -- it's difficult finding many US Wings photo threads. If you get the chance, please post a pic of your jacket. I'd like to see how they fit on people.

Where are you looking? I just did a quick search and had over 3024 hits, and a LOT of photos mixed throughout.

Just off the top of my head....
Goodwear Leather in the U.S.
Aero Leather in Scotland
Eastman Leather Clothing in England
History Preservation Associates in the U.S. (vendor)
U.S. Authentic in the U.S.
Real McCoy's in New Zealand
Lost Worlds in the U.S.
google any of these and you'll pull up the web site.

Thanks Michaelson, yes, you're quite right obviously, there are indeed tons of threads that mention US Wings, and some photos.Michaelson wrote:Where are you looking? I just did a quick search and had over 3024 hits, and a LOT of photos mixed throughout.

But many older threads no longer have the photos they once did or the photos that I have found just tend to be of the jacket themselves and not hanging on their owners. I'm looking to get a limited edition cowhide and aside from a few pics, I really couldn't find a whole lot.
But I shall continue my search in the archives. . .

Here's a thread with Chewy wearing his.
...and here's a thread with a BUNCH of photos:

Just type in U. S. Wings Limited Edition in the search with no specific section targeted, and you'll get a bunch of hits with live photos and links.

Cheers fellas.
I'm loving the look of this jacket -- nicetrylaoche's looks awesome. I too would like to see some close-up comparisons between the US Wings limited ed. and a Nowak of the same cowhide leather. . .

I've had a US Wings Signature Series Indy-Style Goatskin Adventurer Jacket for approximately one year. It has become my go-to throw on leather jacket. I'm pleased and for those looking for the look if not exactly the accuracy, I highly recommend it. Best - M
