Principal Mr. David did an AMAZING Job on this hat. Its not to tight , and not to loose.
The sweat band is very soft. Its just a great hat .

Thank you very much MR Garrison :TOH:

Nice hat! Looks great on you too! I'm sure it will get even better as you wear it as well.
I haven't gotten one of these yet, but have been very tempted. David seems like a great fellow to deal with also.

Thanks for sharing,
Frank :D

That hat looks great on you, Caber! Mind reducing the size of the pics a bit, though? ;)

Very nice hat and you wear it well! I especially like the look in the last pic. A Garrison hat is becoming more and more tempting.

Thanks guys. I really like it . Don’t be afraid of hurting my feelings. If something doesn’t look quite right or doesn’t match, then tell me . I wont cry much

Ya I didn’t know that the picks would come out that big. Do I fix it by just reposting them in a smaller form or what ?

Nice hat, in the rules you can only post pictures 640 x 480 or lower, so yup you just need to resize those somehow. Great looking hat though, I thought about getting a Garrison hat, I don't know still thinking about it.

I think the last pic showcases how good the hat looks on you. You look comfortable in it, too.

As for the pictures, yes, you'll have to repost them in a smaller form. This site doesn't do that automatically. :TOH:

Hey Caber 8) ,
Thanks for posting your hat. I like the two pics taken from a distance. The hat looks very straight sided. Don't be afraid to tighten the front pinch some more. The more the front pinch is tightened the more triangle shaped the two front bashes will get. As you wear the hat more, the more the brim will settle in. A minor suggestion is to wear the hat a little lower on your head at the rear and bring the front up a little higher on you forehead. This will give you more room to work with the swoop of the brim with the technique I showed you in the PM.

Your style of wearing has this look:

Kicking it back a little on your head would allow the hat to be shaped similar to this:

Caber was very patient to deal with. I completely messed up his first hat. I made a complete disaster out of his brim cut. :Dietrich: :) . It delayed me getting his hat to him. He was very kind and understanding. No way was I sending that out. Enjoy your hat, Caber. Be tough on it.

You are very welcome. In regards to "Principal Mr. Garrison", there will be an assembly in the auditorium at 1:00 PM to cover the details of The Raider Hat. No tardiness will be tolerated. ;) :whip: :D

Congrats on the Garrison, Caber!
REALLY suits you!
:D
I've had mine for about 10 weeks now and love it. Keeps getting better and better the more I wear it, too.
Great, sturdy and stylin'!
:TOH:
I had the same reaction as you on the issues of both the fit (just right) and the sweat band (nice and soft)...PLUS, just as Hollowpond noted, that flying V is pretty DANG nice!
(And by the way thedurdens, you're right in your hunch that David's great to deal with. He's an "all heart" and "salt of the earth" kinda' guy... I'd buy from him in a split-second.)
All the Best,
Mitch

And this is why Michaelson has an entire book instead of a pamphlet. He also has tenure. Let's see..... Chapter 4: "The Natutral Distressing of Custom Made Apparel". Chapter 5: "Hat Posture: What It Says About a Man". The man is a Sage without that age. ;) :TOH:

Caber, my wife was facinated that folks on here commented about the flying V. She said "They are really into the details". I said "You got that right". Your flying V is better that the one on mine.

Hey Caber,
The flying V is a description of the shape of the front half of bow. The Raiders hat had a distinctive sideways "V" that meets in the middle of the bow. Like this ">".

P.S. There are no "dingy" questions. Only dingy people who answer them.   8)
