Will you modify your MK VIIs?

After seeing in the DVD that the MK VII in Raiders have "D" rings, will you modify them?

Nah, I after browsing the dvd I see all O rings, with the exception of the one scene you brought into question earlier. I will be replacing my NH strap and buckle with a custom one, as I don't see any borders on hat leather at all.

Mostly O rings in the film. There's at least one MK VI in ToD, and yet I see no reason why the MK VII isn't the most accurate choice as it's got more screen time.
Same thing with the O rings.
That scene is a prop anolmoly.

Unfortunately I do not have a DVD Rom unit to show that the D ring is in several places along Raiders. You can see it in the moment where indy dodges and a Cairo henchman accidentaly kills another henchman alog a fruit market. Also when indy is fighting under the wing plane, if you go frame by frame, you can see it. When he is outside the idol temple and puts the sandbag in the MK VII you can see the D ring. Enjoy!!

Maybe he has a canadian MKVII in those scenes? I have a canadian MKVII with d/rings but its a light khaki, almost white color. I prefer my green MKVII over the khaki one though... dunno why, just do. Guess cause it's more Indy.

I agree with INDIANAMIKEY and Rab.
So far, all bags I've seen with D-rings have been Canadian (wrong color), Australian (wrong color) or Mk VI ones. Also, they were all brass hardware. I'm still pretty sure none of the British MkVII's were made with D-rings, they would have shown up by now one would think. One thing I've noticed is that none of the Canadian bags I've seen has a black disc, only the British ones have. I could be wrong about that, but if that is true and it shows up on the DVD that the disc is black we could perhaps tell that it is a British bag and hence it has O-rings.

Pretty vague right now, but still some thoughts and observations.
