Nice job. Is it based on a actual ToD pattern or is it one of TN's (and yours) creative efforts?

Cheers

It's based off the other jacket we see most in the movie, rather than the NH jacket.

You'll be hard pressed to find a closer pattern.......

The leather is entirely TNs creative effort, it took him a long time to develop it for the correct colour, distressibility etc.

Love it! :notworthy: Did he source the correct buckles or did you not care what was used too much?

It looks a bit on the light side in color but I'm guessing flash had something to do with it?

Yes A5 the flash really lightened it up. It's darker in person. The buckles are black two prong.
The camera I'm using is an older 3.3 Mp Olympus C3040. The photos could be better

Awesome. Yet another winner from Tony.

I didn't think anyone had a camera worse than mine but I guess you win. :D I thought my 4.0 was terrible. Wait...it is.

Here are some more photos. Same Camera.

Holt it has been slightly distressed by Tony. The leather is dark but when distressed shows a nice brown through

I love the attention to detail. very, very good.

but again the hide is wrong for me. the jacket rocks..I just dont care so much for distressed leather. predistressed or Nowak stressed.

and I see the TofD as a very dark jacket. its just how I see it...

anyways congrats. I love the cut of the jacket!

I understand Holt. This hide is dark and would be good for you with no distressing, it's just what you like. There are other choices too though.
For me though, like the LC jacket (which this hide would also do nicely), the distressing is part of what makes this particular jacket. I didn't want quite the extreme we see on screen though. The ToD was probably the most distressed of any, to the point of coming apart.

Very nice jacket! Looks like he really nailed the details on this one. Can you give us a close-up of the collar stand configuration when you get a chance? What hide is this?

So is it based on screen captures then?

Screen captures were used as well.

It's a great jacket, that's certain. But that was vague. Are you saying Tony had access to another film used jacket?

It wouldn't surprise me if he did, but I guess we'll never know that for sure if that were the case ;)

Besides that, TN has proven himself to be great at replicating jackets from movies: just look at how great his LC looks.

Hey RC!
The jacket fits you great! but not by a mile good as it fits me.. :D ;)
Could you make sometimes pics outside in sunlight?
Would like to compare the color of both jackets.
Thx!

RC, I'm not generally a fan of the TOD jacket, mostly due to the small vent at the bottom of the pleat, but that is one sweet jacket. Those side and back 3/4 views are right out of the movie (well, not the jeans, but you know...) Absolutely perfect. Go ride an elephant and enjoy.
