Last Crusade Jacket actual pocket size

Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to measure the pockets on a screen used LC jacket? Maybe the one in the Smithsonian. If so, what are the sizes - particularly the flap width? I'd be very interested - but not in estimates. It looks to me as if the pocket flap goes to half way down the pocket.

Looks like no one knows (or cares). I'm thinking the pockets are around 7.5 inches from top to bottom with a 4 inch flap (at the tip).

I used 7.5 x 6.5 pockets on my TN CS. I think they're perfectly LC looking on a 40R jacket.
Tony asked why I chose smaller pockets for my jacket, I told him I prefered a squarer pocket to a tall rectangular one.
The flap is about 3.5 at it's 'tip' leaving about 4 inches for the rest of the pocket.
I don't think anyone knows the 'real' size, so these specs were fine by me!

If I remeber right, Magnoli was able to obtain actual measurements from the Smithsonian. That is what he uses as the basis for his LC jacket.

Holt should know, he had a Mag LC last year.

but kevin is right. the size he used for his CS is very good.

I actually think his LC/CS was one of the best around. but the hide was wrong IMO. I would love to see his jacket in a dark cowhide.

Thanks Holt. I've actually got a second CS in the darker cowhide, but with the bigger sleeves and a smaller collar, it's very CS and not very LC!
The darker hide though, is beautiful. It's grainy and full of character. I must post some pics of it. For the second CS from Tony, I asked for pretty much no changes,
except for the same sized pockets as the first. There's no mistaking it for anything other than a CS jacket, in my opinion.
Anyway, for those who would like to know, would it be worth calling Magnoli, perhaps, and ask what size he uses for the pockets on his LC jackets?

Well is last jacket was really a CS with his personal changes. I didn't think he meant it to be an LC. Wasn't the leather CS leather?
