Has anyone purchased a WPG What Price Glory Indy Shirt recently? I purchased one some time ago, and sold it. While it fit, the body of the shirt needed to be taken in. Also I have seen some with a back pleat and some without the back pleat. If you have any current info on their shirts, please chime in.

For the price range, I'd consider the Todds.

Re: WPG Shirt?
I have a Todd's shirt. After checking with WPG, they no longer have my size in stock. I guess I'll have to wait for the Azuma shirts!

Re: WPG Shirt?
I think WPG changed their pattern about a year ago. The first shirt I purchased from them in 2006 was large and baggy, but the heavy weight material was great for winter wear. About a year ago I purchased another shirt from them (a size smaller) and found that they had apparently changed the pattern sometime in between as the sides were much more tapered. Although I normally wear a size large, their medium fit me about right - even in this new pattern. In terms of overall "fit" and appearance, however, I do prefer Todd's shirt over WPG for the price.

Re: WPG Shirt?
I have both a WPG shirt (march '08) and more recently a Todd's (June '09)...I liked them both, and they fit well...NOT a tailored fit, but I'm still a bit, erm, 'extra' around the midsection, so they fit me fine.
Todd's has much better sizing options, and offers some taper to the body of many of his sizes that WPG doesn't.
What I didn't like about the WPG, however, is how each and every buttonhole's stitching has torn out under mild use and has needed to be repaired by hand....
Simply, to my mind, totally unacceptable for a $50 shirt... Go with the Todd's, you'll be happier.....

Re: WPG Shirt?
I do remember the button holes to be a little lacking in quality. It was the rear pleat in the back and the overall bagginess that didn't work for me. My physical size is not terribly out of normal proportion, but I needed the largest and tallest size for neck and sleeve at 6 ft tall, and I don't work out. It was all of the extra fabric through the middle that was - well too much.
I have two Todd's shirts, both a little different in color. I am excited about the new LC Azuma shirt soon to be released.
