Mm vii portebello road

Post by crazylegsmurphy »

There is a mint con mkvii bag in portebello road market. I will be here for the next hour or so if anyone wants me to pick it up for them.

£50 he wants for it. I'll check back before I leave for the museum. Local time 12:41 London

That is way too much.

£20 would be more like it.

Crazylegs:
Glad to see you got to the market. I love that place and have been there many times. I have noticed the price of those bags have been creeping up. I think the last time I was there the going price was 20-30 pounds. I did see one that was complete, with the gas mask as well. I assume since you are posting this here it is something you have passed on. I think that is the right choice especially considering the conversion (US dollar to pound). Hope you enjoyed your day there and thanks for being so thoughtful to post while you are still at the market.

Ya, this one was complete with gas mask as well. I passed on it because I have two already (but a gas mask would have been cool) and because $100 CDN is a bit much for a bag. I took a photo of it that I'll post later if anyone wants to take a trip down there. I will be heading back there for other reasons as well so I could pick it up for anyone if it's still there.

CJ, I'm writing a PM now.

#-o I guess I just figured I would never see a Bedknobs and Broomsticks reference on here. I guess I've been here long enough to know better.

I'm still in time to go back and buy the bag I saw... but I'm charging £17.5+postage. Public transport sure is expensive around here :BD:
