AB/Penman Henry display thread...
BendingOak is the first AB Henry retailer, and congrads on this well deserved designation! Now on to serious matters at hand....the FEDORA!
...as always, 'post 'em up, Gents!
Says the Oakster:
"the Henry's are now in my hands and are ready to go out the door. If you place your order they can go out the next day and will arrive in 2-3 days from the shipping day. Example. Order placed on Monday, Shipped on Tuesday, Arrive Thursday or Friday. Less than a week. If I'm out of stock of a hat size it should only be a few day on top of that.I'm hoping to build such a stock that I will never be out and a 5 day turn around it for the Henry in the USA."
"...the Henry will be $249 plus $20 for shipping and will ship the very next day that I receive the order. can be open crown for you to crease or I will crease them for you in any style you like."
The AB Henry is a factory, rabbit & beaver blend fedora.

Here's a link so you can see the crease jobs I can do on the Henry. The Raiders is my hat and the CS is our own squidkidds hat ( he also took those great shots by the by).

The grey Henry's have not gone into production yet, as far as I know, and I don't think there are any plans for other colors, though that would be nice.

I've been warming up the catcher's mitt and waitin' by the box for that AB/Penman Henry any day now!....better throw me that high velocity "heater" Oakster, and put some 'umph' on it!

Don't worry about it. I think it's kinda funny that people in the past show a brown or white box. I put my logo on mine and it takes about a year before I see that classic shot.Tundrarider wrote:Detective Jones....in my book, you are choosing wisely, as your name suggests!
Even further, last night I saw your post about your Tony Nowak jacket; this morning I see you received your Henry from Penman. To top it off your hat is perched on a new pair of Alden's?
I look forward to seeing the whole ensemble' when complete. This has gotta be so exciting for you. Dang, I'm even excited for you!
John's great, isn't he? The Henry is awesome, too!
Nice pics! Sorry John, I was way to eager to open mine to slow down for photos!!!
Thanks for posting and again, WELCOME!
Michael

Don't forget the whip, Michael. Paul Nolan 12ft. He's about to become a superstar with the AB Limited Edition Raiders whips. Thanks for noticing!

John, I hate to tawke this off topic, but, I believe I posted a picture of your box when I first got my Penman, over a year ago. Also, and back on topic now, do you have any idea when you will be receiving the grey Henrys?

Here is a link to a comprehensive review of the Henry, by Fedora. Worth a good read, at least once:
