Post by Harry Gooch »

Does anyone have this jacket? (Collectors Edition Signature Series™ Indy-style Vintage Adventurer Jacket)

Pictures would be great.

I had it at one time. Some question certain aspects in terms of SA, but it is a very well made jacket and the leather is superb.

I currently own the US Wings CE Adventurer jacket with the snaps on the storm flap. It is very nice, well constructed jacket. But, a bit heavy as compared to my Disney/Cooper jackets and my Wested jackets. Also, as previously noted by other COW members who have owned or currently own US Wings Indy style jackets, the jacket runs big. The size of my jacket is XXL and it is VERY roomy.

Here are pictures of my jacket taken outdoors with natural lighting.

That jacket will work VERY nicely if you have to layer this winter!

YES!!! Last year, mine got a lot of use that way. I have short arms for my size, but the jacket was so useful that I didn't take it for alteration until the end of the season!

Anyway, here are some shots of mine;

And one of my "layered" days;

Yes, looks nice. I'd like to see some more shots of the US Wings version. I like that distressed cowhide. Does anyone know if US Wings still offers a major discount to COW members? I seem to remember last year (or was it a couple of years ago now?) that US Wings was offering COW members something like a $100 discount. Or was that just a Pankot Palace fever dream I had?

Wings has done that on numerous occasions for COW members exclusively. I don't know if that offer is going on right now. Drop David Hack a line and ask.
