Robert Duke

Post by Imahomer »

I've got someone who is offering a 10' Robert Duke, but not being a whip guy I have zero idea what would be a fair price. For you guys who know this stuff, what would be a general ballpark range?

Thanks... Mike

Mike, Here is Roberts website with his “current” prices for new whips. http://www.dukewhips.com/

I couldn’t asset a value on a used whip with out seeing it's current condition. But It’s been my general experience that unless the whip is highly collectable made by a retired or deceased whip maker, Good kangaroo hide whips, used but still in good condition generally decrease in value by one to two hundred dollars depending on a number of factors.

That's good information Dan. It's my understanding that this whip was bought and then sat around as a display piece.

Thanks...
