Hi everyone.
I live in NSW, Australia. We have quite prohibitive laws and customs regulations regarding the importation and ownership of replica pistols here. I'm not looking to break any laws. Rubber or resin is fine as long as its not kid sized. I'm just looking for something reasonably screen accurate to fill my holster. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards,
Michael

buy something and have it sent to a friend in the states, who will send it to you.

But does that break any import rules? Michael, you might want to see if there are any bits online regarding such laws and exceptions. That said, there are a number of Australians around these boards, so they might be able to chime in.

Re: Finding replicas in Australia
Thanks fellas. I've never owned any sort of gun before so I have done a bit of checking online and spoken with Australian customs and there just seem to be too many hoops to jump through to import even a replica (or receive one sent by a friend). I did post here hoping there might be a few other Aussies on the board who could offer some suggestions about where to look locally. Anyone?

You know there have been threads where a guy would buy a toy gun and do a few things to it and BINGO... a pretty cool replica!
