You're not tangling up my hair, my friend. I always look forward to reading your posts. :TOH:

Just trying to keep the waters from getting muddy around here is all.
....to spiral off into another debate of "Penman!" "No, Adventurebilt" "No, Fed IV Moonstone!" "No, it's BROWN!" etc, etc...
Dead on target, ending 4 pages later with the original writer posting 'this is all well and good, but will someone PLEASE answer my original question?!!!"

:M:

HIGH regards! Michaelson

Mitch,
Thanks for the PM. Never once did I think you were OT. I preferred you brought up vendor choices regarding the style even though I did not; I want others to contribute and could lead to changing my thinking. I know some of us may ramble and hijack threads but I know you're not like that.

M,
That's fine, no need to be sorry. You're just doing your job and I do honestly appreciate it. Sorry if the bold, underline and italic was misinterpreted; that was directed at Mitch for his use of such  . And like I said, I want others to contribute. I like to see what others have to say on topics/issues. It helps me make up my mind. Carry on the good work! :TOH:

I have both grey hats from Steve. The grey Raiders appeals to me more because it is the same hat as the hero hat but a different color. There is something about that fact that resonates with me.

When I opened the box on the CS travelling hat though, it took my breath away. It is such a beautiful hat and has perfect dimensions. It is truly an amazing hat.

With the choice of vendors that you seem to be considering you can't go wrong. The choice may be difficult but you will win either way.

Michaelson-you're my hero. There are a few folks here that when they post I read attentively; you are one. Just be glad the administrative controls aren't in my hands. :o

Glad this thread helped then. Those pics look great mcmanm! That may put me over the top in making my decision. I don't have a CS hat as of yet.

My pleasure. Oak does a great job and I couldn't be happier. This was my 2nd Penman. First one was a CS hero and I have a Raiders "Raven Bar" that is currently being finished up. That will hopefully hold me over for awhile. However, if I were to get one more hat, it would probably be the Seaplane. I would also consider waiting to see if the Indy 5 hat was a totally different hat that I would like.

Well, I guess that pretty much wraps up this thread, then, since the aim was to help you choose which one to get. I'll go ahead and close this one down. Congrats on your choice! :TOH:
