Ok..........so it's not even close to being 'virtually accurate' but this is a jacket I picked up from a second hand store about 5 years ago.
Cost me 30 bucks and I bought it coz it reminded me of Indy's.
The great thing is that I can weather it to #### and not have to worry about wrecking it.
It's been sanded, boiled, washed, spun, hung out on the clothesline for two weeks, dirtied and dusted
what about the rest of us??
Got any 'close, but not quite there jackets'

Re: Not even close
Actually I think it looks pretty good (for a jacket that has been boiled!). Seriously though, this looks like an A2 type jacket. I have had a couple over the years and quite like the look and the way they wear and mine cost more than 30 bucks. who makes the jacket?

´boiled´ as in having parts of it filled or doused in boiling water.
Some crowd named ´ATELIER´ made it...
It has a ´Made in Australia´label in it.

They sometimes make good jackets here - not sure about that one, mate, sorry. I want to get one of their long car coats in goat - they are pretty good.
