Looks sort of like a mostly open crown AB. Did Fedora ever tell who his celebrity client was a couple years ago? Very stove pipe sides at least.

Very cool. The man makes great music and apparently has a good sense of style.

Hard to tell from that pic but I'll gamble and say no.

The profile of that hat does not look ABish. The front of that hat slants way much. Plus, it doesn't appear to have a ribbon. Just a few observations. It is very straightsided. Would make nice hat when creased. I've never been a fan of his music, though. Hate it, actually.

I see a ribbon, dark brown/black about the right height...actually it looks a bit too tall. (I don't see a bow though) Might need to brighten your monitor some or something. Steve said the one he made for some one famous ended up not being a off the shelf Indy hat. You're right about the profile (that you can see "ghosted") It really does slant back at a crazy angle.
Re: Beck in aAB Fedora?
Nope not mine. The last celeb hat I made was for a rock star. Made him two. A rock star from my youth. But, as I told him, I WOULD not drop his name. He is retired now, and only came out of retirement to do the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a few years ago. He was inducted, along with the rest of the band. Or what is left of them. He created one of the most recognizable Strat riffs in rock history. Nuff said. And please don't try to guess. Cause, I promised not to say. But I will say this. Not many can play his parts. And get them right. But many have tried. He's a wiz. Fedora

Ok. I think I know who it is. I won't guess who it is here, but would you mind if I PMed it to you? You don't have to tell me if I'm right or not. But I am 90 percent sure I know who he is.
