Indy / Trilby mix...

Post by Marc »

Hi gang,

I just finished this Indy / Trilby mix, that a customer living only 10km away had ordered... once :P

After taking a few snap shots, I drove by his place to deliver his hat and received a BIG hug from his wife
oooohhhh, FINALLY I don’t have to listen to his “oh the wait” complaints any longer
Though it’s rather not my personal cup of tea, I was happy to see the HUGE grin on my customer’s face as he put it on in front of the mirror. And even though I’m NOT a big fan of such small brims myself (60mm all around), it suits him very well. The ribbon is a 23mm vintage ribbon that Steve once gave to me – thanks buddy :D

NICE! - sorta like a later era Playboy without the stitch around the brim. It looks really sporty and the felt looks really soft in the pics. I like that hat.

Actually, I quite like what you created there, Marc. Reminds me of the hats we see them wear in the PBS detective shows based in the last 1940's through the 1950's, such as those of Agatha Cristie'a stories.

VERY nicely done, my friend! I would wear it!
HIGH regards! Michaelson

I really like it. I don't think I'll ever see a hat of yours I don't like. It really is beautiful, Marc.

That's a lovely hat Marc. The thinner ribbon matches it well. Good job my friend
