If only one...
If you could choose one and only one hat to own, which one would it be?
Re: If only one...
THE hero fedora of course. But I'd have to get it from Screenused first and that'd get messy

You've put me in quite a pickle. That is not an easy decision to make. But, I think I'd have to say my black Penman wedding hat.

Re: If only one...
Not a fedora --- it would have to be my dad's old welding hat that he wore all the time up until his death. It has a special place hanging on our hatstand in the hallway - if I could only have one hat that would be it......
If you are strictly talking Fedoras.....AB Beaver takes it.

Re: If only one...
Speaking of only hats in my possession at this moment, it would have to be my grey "Seaplanes" Penman.
However, I have an AB Deluxe on order with Marc... which if it lives up to all the hype I hear, that might take the top spot.

You know, that's like asking me to pick between friends, in fact now that I think about it, that's exactly what it is. You can't go wrong with a hat made by Steve, Marc, or John. And that's all I have to say about that.

Re: If only one...
An interesting question. If all film hats count, including ones that don't have a following like Indy, there are infinite possibilities. This is a tough question because so many hats come to mind. Obviously almost all the indy hats, Bogey's hat in Casablanca, Jimmy Stewart's hat in Harvey and in The Man who knew too much. I could go on forever, but i'd have to pick the hat I own now which I'm absolutely sure you can all guess: my CS AB. It's by far the nicest hat I've ever owned. Actually it's one of five I've owned: A black stetson, a grey straw hat (non-brand name), grey HJ ( my grandpa's old hat), a Mag HJ and now my CS AB.

My recently aquired Fed Deluxe......
When I look at it, I just see Indy.
